SongRank is a free tool built and maintained by one person. There are no ads, no paywalls, and no premium tiers — just a fun way to rank your favorite artists' music.

What it costs

Running SongRank costs about $55/month for hosting and infrastructure. That comes out of pocket. As the platform grows, those costs will too.

Why there are no ads

SongRank is built on the Spotify Web API, and Spotify's Developer Policy restricts how apps like this can be monetized. Nearly every page on SongRank displays Spotify content (artist images, album art, track names), which means ads can't be placed on those pages. You can read more about this on our FAQ.
